The data is the most important aspect for any mailing,
ensuring that your mail is correctly addressed and presented
in the best possible way.
We accept data in most formats and can convert if
necessary. Our preferences are in PC format - CSV, DBF, MS Excel
or MS Access.
Using the industry's latest technology we can
offer the following data processing services:
Database creation
At your request we can create databases
for data entry, analysing data and creating reports.
Database Management
No time to look after your database? On
a daily, weekly or monthly basis we will update any returns
from your mailing, removing any deceased, gone aways, or
simply updating an address. |

Case Conversion
We can transform your data
into Title Case, lowercase or UPPERCASE.
Salutation Creation
If your database doesn't have one, then we will
create one and add it to your data. Our standard practice
is: Dear 'Title' 'Surname' or Dear 'Firstname' if no surname
if available. Failing this, we can insert a generic
salutation such as Dear Sir/Madam or Dear Customer.

De-duping
Essential for good mailing
practice, we will make sure that an individual only receives
one copy of your mailing and that no money is wasted on
postage or printing costs.
Data does not need to be exactly
the same for a match, a more sophisticated 'Soundex' approach
is used where the software intelligently looks at the data
in order to find the match.
More complex processes include:
De-duping one or more databases against each other, de-duping
to one person per household and one person to business.

Address Validation
Using latest software we will verify the addresses
in your database and correct postcodes, town names etc. The software,
which is backed with the Royal Mail PAF file, will also insert
postcodes if they are missing.
Mailsort, Presstream, Walksort & Country
Sort
To ensure maximum postage savings on your mailing,
we will sort your data to a specific order. This will save the
Royal Mail time in sorting your mail, giving you the benefits
of saving postage costs.
International databases are also sorted. Our
software sorts the addresses to the airport in the country that
it is going to, giving you the most cost effective and direct
method for despatching overseas mail.
